Over the years, we have developed various applications aimed at reducing time and costs within manufacturing companies.
Understanding processes, rationalizing them and reducing bottlenecks, leads companies to acquire a significant competitive advantage over their competitors.
Our solutions are always available on premise or in SaaS at our Data Center.
One of our most notable projects dedicated to the industrial sector included the centralized and shared management of document assets for a leading company in the PET production sector, which owns several research, development and production sites located in the United States, South America and Italy. We started by examining the research and development departments, the largest producers of documentation linked to the customer’s core business.
Our assignment included a personalized training phase dedicated to the staff more directly involved in the document management process. In addition, an analysis of the previous documentation was performed to identify the document classes and the most suitable attributes to describe their characteristics. At the end of the analysis phase, we configured the new document archive and imported the documentation within the platform.
Finally, a web search interface was developed ad-hoc, integrated with the company portal, configured to automatically adapt to the data needs of each department, the different types of documents and the access privileges of each user and the department to which the user belongs, in order to guarantee the confidentiality of the documents and store the different revisions online.
The software solution was developed with a modular approach and easily reconfigurable, to support the addition of other departments within the company that were not initially involved in the initiative (Quality Control, Human Resources, etc.).
